The Mostly MIDI Mailing list has been in existence since the mid-1980's. It was originally started inside AT&T, and has always been largely an AT&T-only list. The list is now open to anyone (although traffic is non-existent). To subscribe to the MMML, send a message to: mostly-midi-subscribe@nosuch.com, and you will be automatically subscribed.

The main purpose of this web page is to preserve MMML things of historical interest:

• File Archive - an archive of files collected as part of the MMML.

• The Tapes - five cassette tapes containing the original music of the MMML members, put together in the late 1980's and early 1990's. Here you'll find MP3 files and very detailed liner notes for all the music. The liner notes contain lots of technical details about the equipment that was used, and provide an interesting snapshot of that era.
